Ah Sunday. Relax? Nope. Today started with a 25 mile ride. Met up with Dennis at the Rockridge BART station, climbed up Tunnel, down Pinehurst and back into Orinda. I took BART back to WC and rode home.
Then as promised photos of yesterdays group ride to the Pt. Reyes Lighthouse.
The Old Boat
March of the Cows, it's all good - they are dairy cows.
The long, lonely road
The sea
My bike, you can see the lighthouse itself below the seat.
Two young bucks at play
You may recall I then acquired through the passing of currency two bike frames. Here are some sexy close-ups for you...
This is the Echelon - Odyssey. I got this off of Craig's List. Oddly the two frames I bought last night, the owners were, maybe a block from each other. when I returned with this treasure my wife called it "a box of junk." It "only" needs some clean-up, a wheelset and cabling. Plus I told her it has a story, a really good frame builder's cousin/brother/nephew built it. Whatever it's got clean lines, a nice look and is all mine. I at first was thinking painting it but we will see.
Suntour Sprint
Some up close photos of the frame.
This bike is officially designated Projeckt Two. I will go into some detail of Projeckt One tomorrow.
